Arrive at Delhi's international airport, where you will be met by our representative with a traditional Indian welcome and transferred to your hotel for check-in.

The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax or begin exploring India's vibrant capital at your own pace. Delhi has witnessed some of India’s most significant historical events, serving as the capital of great empires including the Mughals and the British Raj. The city blends Mughal monuments, colonial architecture and modern skylines, while landmarks like the Red Fort and the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk reflect its rich heritage and timeless charm.

Breakfast at the hotel before a leisurely morning.

Later this afternoon, transfer to Delhi's Safdarjung Railway Station to board the Palace on Wheels. After completing the boarding formalities, receive a traditional welcome from the Palace on Wheels team before being escorted to your private cabin. Enjoy a welcome drink and a brief introduction to the train's facilities as your royal rail journey begins.

Dinner is served on board as the train departs for Jaipur.

Breakfast is served on board before arriving in Jaipur, Rajasthan's capital, affectionately known as the Pink City.

Today's sightseeing includes the iconic Hawa Mahal with its five-storeyed pink sandstone facade, the magnificent City Palace, the historic Albert Hall Museum and Jantar Mantar, the royal astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Later, visit the impressive Amber Fort, one of Rajasthan's most celebrated hill forts. There will also be time to browse Jaipur's famous jewellery, textiles, handicrafts and blue pottery.

Enjoy lunch during your excursion before returning to the train.

Arrive early this morning in Sawai Madhopur, gateway to Ranthambore National Park.

Enjoy a morning safari through the park, renowned for its Bengal tigers, ancient fort ruins and abundant wildlife. Return to the train for breakfast before continuing through the scenic countryside towards Chittorgarh.

This evening, explore the magnificent Chittorgarh Fort, including the Victory Tower and Tower of Fame, followed by an impressive sound and light show within the fort complex.

Return to the train for dinner. The train remains stationed at Chittorgarh overnight before departing early in the morning for Udaipur.

Breakfast is served on board before arriving in the beautiful City of Lakes, Udaipur.

This morning, enjoy sightseeing in Udaipur, visiting the Garden of Fountains and the Durbar Museum, followed by lunch at the magnificent Fateh Prakash Palace Hotel, renowned for its impressive crystal gallery.

Later, enjoy a relaxing boat ride on Lake Pichola, passing the iconic Lake Palace Hotel, before visiting the magnificent City Palace, the largest palace complex in Rajasthan, showcasing the royal heritage of Mewar.

Return to the train after your sightseeing to prepare for dinner onboard.

This morning, after breakfast you arrive in the golden desert city of Jaisalmer.

Explore Jaisalmer, the golden city of the Thar Desert, founded by Rawal Jaisal in 1156 AD and the spectacular Jaisalmer Fort. One of the world's few living forts, before visiting the beautifully carved havelis of Patwon Ki Haveli, Nathmalji Ki Haveli and Salim Singh Ki Haveli.

After lunch on board, relax until late afternoon while the train proceeds to the Sam Sand Dunes for an unforgettable desert experience. Enjoy refreshments amidst the dunes before an evening cultural performance and dinner at a palace hotel.

Return to the train later this evening.

Breakfast is served on board before arriving in Jodhpur, the famous Blue City and the second largest city in Rajasthan, founded in 1459 AD.

Visit the imposing Mehrangarh Fort, one of India's finest forts, and explore its museums, courtyards and beautifully preserved palaces - Moti Mahal, Sheesh Mahal and Phool Mahal. Continue to Jaswant Thada, the elegant white marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II.

Lunch is served at a city hotel before returning to the train. Enjoy dinner onboard the train.

An early start this morning as the train arrives in Bharatpur.

Visit Keoladeo National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed bird sanctuary renowned for its rich birdlife and home to thousands of egrets, Siberian cranes, migratory waterfowl and other migratory species. Enjoy breakfast at Mahal Khas Palace, before continuing by train to Agra.

This afternoon, visit the impressive Agra Fort, followed by lunch at a luxury hotel. Later, discover the breathtaking Taj Mahal, one of the world's most iconic monuments and a masterpiece of Mughal architecture. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal. Explore Agra’s famous marble inlay work, leather goods and jewellery.

Return to the train for your final dinner on board.
